IDEA is an authorized distributor of TON.

TON of the Czech Republic built its bentwood chair factory in 1861. The factory founder, Michael Thonet, invented a groundbreaking technique for bending wood using steam—the first in the world—and has influenced not only the development of the furniture industry but also diverse cultures and designs up to the present day. When he began crafting furniture, he went through repeated trial and error; in the bentwood furniture produced, Michael Thonet's passion and conviction can be felt. The bentwood chairs seen in cafes, restaurants, and antique shops across European countries have been continuously produced by TON for over 160 years, truly timeless works of art.
No. 14 is a chair loved around the world, with over 80 million chairs produced since its launch.
